Request for Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ)

All students who wish to enroll to a flight training unit in the province of Quebec need to acquire Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ). It is possible to make your request online, or in person at a Delegation of Quebec office abroad. You can expect a delay of about 1 month for receipt of the documentation.

Request for Student Visa

To study in Canada, you need to be in possession of a student visa delivered by the Canadian Embassy in your country. Belgian, French and Swiss students must make the request at the Canadian Embassy in Paris.

After receiving your CAQ you can complete your request for the student visa. You must include the following with your request: (i) a proof of enrolment to our school (ii) a certified copy of your passport (iii) two photos and (iv) a proof of solvency. This proof is necessary to show that you have sufficient funds to complete your training and funds to support yourself for a year in Canada (estimated at 18,000$ Canadian by the Canadian Government). The embassy charges a fee of 125$ for your student visa.

As for the proof of enrolment to our school, it will be sent to you once we receive a deposit of 2,200$ Canadian which confirms your commitment to our flight training school. This amount can be transferred by bank transfer and will be deposited in an account under your name. This money belongs to you and will be used for your flight training.

The time it takes for the authorities to treat your request is about one month and it is imperative to begin your training in Canada. You can also consult this website for more detailed information.
