Joint European ATPL Training

Exclusively offered by two aeronautical training centers, Air-Espace and Cargair, you can complete the European ATPL training via Canada and Switzerland.

Completing your Canadian CPL/IFR training will lead you to Switzerland, where you will partake in a six month internship where you will perfect your ATPL JAA theory via distance training, and where you will prepare for the JAA CPL/IFR flight test. Our training program respects Canadian, ICAO and JAA regulations and requirements.

It is through the association of the two training institutions and your perfect knowledge of the ATPL theory that you will obtain a Canadian, Commonwealth, ICAO and JAA CPL/IFR license in only 12 months at the best price on the market!

Converting ICAO licenses into European licenses

How
Possessing a national European license, you will then need to pass a medical class 1 exam, meeting the standards set out by the country where you have chosen to complete your training.

You will also need to follow theoretical training, either via distance learning, by correspondence, or via an integrated program (full time). You will need to pass all 14 required certificates.

Finally, after getting up to date on your knowledge, you will need to re-pass the CPL and IFR flight tests. Certain countries will require that you complete the conversion in a recognized internship program, and others will require that you obtain the necessary level after a few flights without an internship.

How much 
Depending on the country, it will cost between 20,000 and 25,000 Euros for the conversion into the European ATPL license.
